The Warrior Way

We don’t remove every obstacle.
We build the skills to meet it.

Warrior Kids Academy began with a simple belief: challenges can become training grounds for confidence, leadership, and care for others. Our coaching brings that same spirit into everyday family life.

Meet your coach

David
Forman.

Coach • Program Creator • Child Advocate

For more than 25 years, David Forman has built his work around one purpose: helping children discover what is possible within them.

Before beginning his coaching journey, David practiced law and spent 25 years helping own and operate Children's Rehab Network, which was founded by his father. David was part of the organization from day one. With facilities throughout Miami-Dade County, Children's Rehab Network provided comprehensive care for medically fragile children, including medical treatment, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and behavioral therapy.

That experience gave David a deep appreciation for the whole child—and for the vital role parents, caregivers, and trusted professionals play in a child's progress. It also shaped his belief that meaningful growth happens when children feel understood, challenged, supported, and capable.

David created Positive Presence, a coaching program designed to help kids build confidence and lead happier, more fulfilling lives. Combined with Warrior Kids Academy's exercise, mindset, and obstacle-based approach, the work supports self-awareness, resilience, social connection, leadership, and practical problem-solving.

His coaching is experience-led rather than certification-led—shaped by decades of hands-on work with children before, during, and after his leadership of the medical centers, and by his ongoing work with young people through Warrior Kids Academy.

The goal is not a life without obstacles. It is giving kids and families the confidence, skills, and connection to move through them.

Life coaching is educational and goal-focused; it is not a substitute for mental-health treatment or crisis care.
